Hi, welcome to the Janet Fernandez Agency! Just to tell you a little about me: My husband and I met in college (FSU) and have been happily together for 45 years (40 years married plus the 5 years we dated). We were both Business Majors and served as Student Senators (opposing parties). We have three great adult children; a UF Gator, a FSU Seminole, and a neutral Boston College third child. The oldest daughter lives in NYC and practices law and the youngest daughter lives in Boston, just got engaged and works as a tech analyst. Our son, Michael, stayed in South Florida and has his own State Farm Agency. I have been a State Farm agent for over 31 years and have been lucky enough to help people manage their risk and take care of generations of families financially. After surviving a plane crash and a terrible car accident I am thankful for every day and look forward to helping others. I especially like developing and training team members and interns for careers in insurance, business and financial services. Over the years I have trained and guided over 60 interns. Some have stayed in the insurance and financial services industries while others have moved to various other professions. Three have become local State Farm agents. I am proud of every single one of them!

Over the years I have achieved State Farm awards such as; Crystal Honor Agent (Top quality and profitable agent for over 20 years), SVP Agent, Chairman's Circle Agent (Top 3% agent in the USA) and Ambassador for Life. In the community I enjoy volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, Broward County School Business Partner Program and the High School Mentor Program. I frequently speak at the local high schools to young drivers about car insurance.

At the Janet Fernandez agency we serve the entire state of Florida with a focus on re-locations to South Florida. Locally, we serve the communities of Ft. Lauderdale, Cooper City, Davie, Weston, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, Sunrise, Tamarac and Coral Springs. We offer car insurance, home insurance, business insurance, life and health insurance, along with 150 other products and services.
